Another way we are creating a more inclusive ocean community is by narrowing the gap in experiential knowledge between students from better-resourced areas and those from under-resourced communities. Our student community page – oceanXchange – will give you the chance to ask questions (and have them answered), make suggestions, post information, and solicit help with finding and applying for ocean-related internships, research programs and scholarships. To ensure that all students feel authentically represented and part of an inclusive community oceanXchange eill enable them to express their identity through a unique avatar. And to ensure that the community is accessible to all, oceanXchange will be ADA-compliant.
